Sophia Bush Revisits Iconic One Tree Hill Outfits 21 Years Later: 'Brooke Davis Would’ve Loved TikTok Trends’
Sophia Bush, known for her role as cheerleader-turned-mogul Brooke Davis on the beloved 2000s drama series *One Tree Hill*, took a nostalgic trip down memory lane by slipping back into her character's classic outfits for a TikTok video posted on August 18.
In the video, Bush, 42, flaunts an array of looks including halter tops, butterfly-sleeved dresses, mid-rise jeans, and pointed-toe pumps, evoking a wave of nostalgia for fans of the show.
“Clothes over bros 21 years later,” she captioned the clip, a nod to Brooke's fictional fashion empire.
The outfits Bush models are exact replicas of those worn on the show. For instance, the red lace V-neck tank at the start of the video mirrors the Le Chateau top from the season 1 promotional shoot. Similarly, the little black dress with the white bejeweled collar closely resembles the 3.1 Phillip Lim piece seen on-screen, while the BCBGMaxazria paisley dress and other pieces like the purple Amanda Uprichard dress, the red strapless Bari Jay number, and the Juicy Couture halter top are authentic Y2K fashion.
Audrey Long, who manages the Instagram account @xoxoposhipgirl, was instrumental in curating these iconic outfits. Long, known for her expertise in sourcing celebrity wardrobe pieces, assembled "16 authentic designer outfits" from *One Tree Hill* for Bush.
“When I met Sophia at a convention, I handed her a big bag of these outfits, each paired with a reference image from the show. She was thrilled and immediately began trying on the dresses,” Long shared. “It was such a joy to see her reconnect with these iconic looks.”
Bush also perfectly matched each outfit with throwback hairstyles, including messy side buns, long side bangs, and loose beach waves.
“We all know B. Davis would have *loved* TikTok trends,” Bush captioned the post.
Previously, Bush revealed that she hadn’t considered reprising her role as Brooke Davis until she began co-hosting the *Drama Queens* podcast with former co-stars Bethany Joy Lenz and Hilarie Burton, with Robert Buckley set to replace Burton.
“It’s fascinating how doing this podcast has reignited my love for the show,” Bush said in a June 27 episode of *Drama Queens*. “I’m genuinely excited about the idea of creating an episode in a parallel universe and seeing how it would turn out.”
Bush expressed pride in her time on *One Tree Hill*, noting a deep sense of ownership over the show and its legacy.
